In the recent season, Bains was recognized as a Big Sky All-Conference First Team player, recording a career-high 83 tackles and leading the conference with 14 pass break-ups. His performance included 8.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, and a forced fumble and recovery. Bains' previous seasons included solid contributions, with 43 tackles in his junior year and 28 tackles in the year prior.
