Pitt lands 2 players on AP All-America team

The selected players are sophomore linebacker Kyle Louis and junior all-purpose back Desmond Reid, both earning second-team honors. Kyle Louis had an impressive season, recording 96 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and four interceptions. Desmond Reid excelled in all-purpose yards, averaging 150.9 yards per game and ranking sixth nationally. He also made a notable impact on punt returns, averaging 12.3 yards, placing him ninth in the nation. Both players had previously received All-American recognition from The Athletic and CBS Sports, in addition to their first-team All-ACC accolades. This recognition follows the achievements of Pitt players Calijah Kancey and Israel Abanikanda, who were named All-Americans after the 2022 season.
