Louis and Reid Named to Associated Press All-America Team

Title:    Louis and Reid Named to Associated Press All-America Team - Pitt Panthers #H2P Sidearm Sports, opens a new window Kyle Louis and Desmond Reid, players for the Pitt Panthers, were named to the 2024 Associated Press All-America Team. Both players received second-team selections at their respective positions. They are the first Pitt players to achieve Associated Press All-American status since 2022. Louis recorded impressive statistics, including 96 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and four interceptions. Reid averaged 150.90 all-purpose yards per game, ranking sixth nationally, and led the ACC with 12.3 yards per punt return. Reid is notable for being the only player this season to have three games with at least 100 receiving yards and 50 rushing yards, a feat last accomplished by Christian McCaffrey in 2015. Both players have previously received All-America honors from The Athletic and CBS Sports. They were also named first-team All-ACC selections.
